Our candles are made from soy wax. We only use 100% cotton wicks. Our fragrance combinations are derived from essential oils and phthalate-free fragrances oil. All of our candles are hand poured in the Hudson River Valley.

At Tess & James, we believe that a healthy detox process is about gaining physical and emotional vitality. Our Salty Baths are mineral based and infused with botanicals and essential oils.  A salt bath soak is a delightful way to relax the mind, cleanse the body and ​stimulate various systems of the body. Shake 1/3 cup into warm bath water. Relax and rejuvenate!

All of our lip balms are made from natural waxes and oils. Our balms are scented only with essential oils, and pure and natural flavor oils--we do not add  sweetener to any of our balms because sweet lips are lips that get dried out from licking! Any colored balms have color dervived from mineral based mica powders and oxides.

We keep our mud mask formulas dry, and add only what your skin can benefit from -- the cleansing, toning, tightening properties of clay and dried botanicals. Simply add water, plain yogurt, or apple cider vinegar to a teaspoon or so of Muddy Face, mix into a desirable consistency and apply to face. After ten minutes, gently remove mask with a warm wash cloth and towel pat to dry.

Tess & James all natural TUB TEAS are herbal pouches that contain dried botanicals. Toss TUB TEA bag directly into hot water, let steep for twenty minutes and soak!
 

Tess & James Bath Porridge is a gentle, all natural bath soak. It helps to relieve the discomfort caused by dry, irritated skin by balancing the skin’s pH. Our Porridge ingredients have been time tested as soothing and non-irritating to sensitive skin.
